SMEEA has been committed to representing educational professionals of the Santa Maria-Bonita School District since 1949. SMEEA is committed to working with the Santa Maria-Bonita School District in order to deliver the highest quality public education available to the students of the Santa Maria Valley. February 25, 2019 Announcement of vacancies to members

March 1 - 8, 2019 Declaration Forms available to members in digital form

March 8, 2019 Declaration of candidacy must be received at no later than 5:00 PM

March 11, 2019 Acknowledgment of declarations of candidacy

March 13, 2019 Candidates statements will be sent to members via the SMEEA email system.

March 18, 2019 Distribution of voting materials to site reps at Rep Council

March 19-22, 2019 Voting at work sites.

March 22, 2019 Ballots and voter sign –in sheets must be received at SMEEA office no later than 5:00 PM.

March 22,  2019 Ballots will be counted at the SMEEA office beginning at 5:15PM. 2325 Skyway Dr, Santa Maria.

March 25, 2019 Announcement of results to leadership, candidates, members and posted at each work site. If a run-off election is necessary this information will be included in the announcement.

April 4, , 2019 Challenge to the election must be received at SMEEA office by 3:00 PM
