  • Our New Contract

    On September 13, 2023 the SMBSD Board of Education voted 5-0 to ratify the 2023-26 contract. That, along with our members' almost unanimous vote to ratify, completes the process.

  • Special Election: 1st Vice President

    Special Election: 1st Vice President

    Jose Segura will be resigning as SMEEA president on April 26, 2024. Per SMEEA bylaws, our current 1st Vice President, Kristen Lohr, will assume the presidency. That will occur on April 26, 2024.

    This means we will need to run a special election in order to elect a new 1st Vice President who will complete the current term. The term will be from May 6, 2024 till June 30, 2025.

    A special email will be sent out this coming Monday with all the details as well as a link for folks to declare themselves a candidate for the position.
